Scott Walker, compositor y productor británico, falleció a los 76 años, confirmó su sello discográfico 4AD por medio de sus redes sociales.
“Con tristeza anunciamos la muerte de Scott Walker. Scott tenía 76 años y le sobreviven su hija, Lee y su nieta, Emmi-Lee, y su pareja Beverly”, informó 4AD.
Walker, de origen estadounidense, fue un músico vanguardista en la década de los 60, siendo referente de artistas y bandas como David Bowie, Radiohead y Pulp, siendo el productor de uno de los discos de esta última banda: We Love Life del 2001.

Dentro de los músicos que reaccionaron a su muerte se encuentra Thom Yorke, quien en sus redes sociales le dedicó unas palabras señalando que fue quien le mostró cómo usar su voz y sus palabras.
En cuanto a los últimos trabajos de Scott Walker en vida fue al componer la música para la película Vox Lux.
